Prairie Grove Senior Activity & Wellness Center Receives Major Renovation Through CDBG Funding

Prairie Grove, Arkansas -The Prairie Grove Senior Activity & Wellness Center completed a significant renovation made possible through a $358,500 Community Development Block Grant awarded through the Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP).

This transformative project was the result of a strong collaborative partnership between the City of Prairie Grove, the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas, and the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District (NWAEDD).

With the renovation finalized, seniors in Prairie Grove can enjoy an upgraded facility designed to better support essential daily services, social activities, and wellness programs. The improved space enhances safety, accessibility, and overall functionality, ensuring the center remains a welcoming and dependable resource for residents for years to come.

NWAEDD expressed pride in supporting the initiative, highlighting the project as a powerful example of how strategic partnerships and shared community vision can lead to meaningful improvements that enhance quality of life across the region.
