Harrison, Ark. (Oct. 16, 2025) – The Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District (NWAEDD) is honored to announce it has received a generous $6,000 contribution from Arvest Bank’s 29th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The event, held Sept. 13 at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Mountain Home, raised a total of $18,000 to benefit three nonprofit organizations serving Boone, Baxter, and Marion counties.

This donation will directly support NWAEDD’s Workforce Development Program, which helps individuals across our nine-county region improve their skills and create pathways to better employment opportunities. By investing in workforce development, we strengthen local economies and empower residents to achieve long-term success.

“We are so very grateful to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this year’s Arvest Charity Golf Tournament,” said Jeremy Ragland, NWAEDD Deputy Director. “These funds will help individuals improve their station in life through participation in our Workforce Development Program. We are humbled to have been chosen and are thankful for all that Arvest does on a daily basis across our region.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Arvest Bank, the tournament participants, sponsors, and volunteers for making this event possible. Your support helps us continue our mission of building stronger communities through economic and workforce development.
