Automotive Fluid Disposal

Waste oil and automotive products are highly contaminating to the environment, and highly poisonous to people and pets! In the old days, we'd sometimes simply dump these materials around unwanted weeds, or burn them in our burn barrels. But we are much more responsible now, and have learned about the dangers these hazardous materials represent.

So, what can we do with waste oil now?

Almost every oil change service center in Arkansas will accept these materials for free, assuring they are properly disposed of. Simply drain your waste oil and lubricants into jugs, take it to an oil change facility, and ask them to dispose of it.

In Baxter County and Newton County, the recycling centers use waste oil as heating fuel! What better way to recycle, and help keep your recycling workers warm at the same time!  Contact these centers:
