Environmental Writers Project

The Environmental Writers Project is a continuing program of the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, in coordination with the Northwest Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District, to provide accurate, informative articles, essays and information to the media of this region, including newspapers and other print publications, as well as broadcast media.

If you would like to contribute to this effort, please contact Bill Lord, Solid Waste Program Director. Journalism and creative writing students are encouraged to contact us (your written contributions would look great on your resume!) as well as anyone with particular expertise, insight or experience in environmental, recycling, composting, or solid waste management issues.

The following is a list of recently published articles. Please feel free to explore these links and read the articles, and contact Mr. Lord if you would like to participate as a contributor/writer on this important public outreach project.
