2007 Environmental Appreciation Award
Boone County Judge Mike Moore, who serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District, presents the 2007 Environmental Appreciation Award to Norma Ellis-Cutler of Harrison.
Norma chairs the Green Committee of the North Arkansas College Board of Trustees. Also serving on the Committee are Bill Lovell and Troy Massey, both of Harrison. In 2007, the Committee worked hard to develop a Green Policy for North Arkansas College, which was recently adopted by the Board of Trustees. (Link to NAC Green Policy)
Norma was selected for the award for her outstanding leadership efforts in promoting recycling and the sustainable use of resources at North Arkansas College.
